Potchefstroom Driving Academy respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we look after it. We handle personal information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).

Your name, contact number and WhatsApp number.
Your booking details: package, dates, times and pick up address.
Whether you hold a learners licence, and your test date once booked.
Notes you choose to add, such as previous driving experience.
Basic technical information from your device when you use the website.

Why we collect it

To book and confirm your lessons and fetch you at the right address.
To plan your lessons around your test date.
To contact you about changes, reminders and your progress.
To keep records required for running a driving school.

Learners under 18

Where a learner is under 18, we ask that a parent or guardian makes the booking and is the contact for all communication.

Bookings and lesson reminders are confirmed on WhatsApp. We do not add you to groups or broadcast lists without asking.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your information. We share it only where needed to run the academy, for example with our instructors, and only as much as they need.

Photos and passes

We celebrate passes on our Facebook page and website. We will always ask before posting your name or photo. If you would like something taken down, message us and we will remove it.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for as long as you are a learner with us and for a reasonable period afterwards. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

Your rights

You may ask to see the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Message us on WhatsApp or through the contact page.

Cookies

This website uses only what it needs to work, such as remembering your booking steps while you complete them. No advertising trackers.
