We plan instructors and vehicles around your lessons, so this policy exists to be fair to you and to the learners booked around you.
Moving a lesson
- Lessons moved with at least 24 hours notice are rescheduled at no charge, as many times as you need.
- Lessons cancelled with less than 24 hours notice, or a no show at pick up, are counted as a used lesson from your package.
- If the academy has to move a lesson, for example because of vehicle or instructor availability, it is rescheduled at no charge and does not count against your package.
Refunds on packages
- Before the first lesson: a package paid but not started is refunded in full.
- After lessons have started: unused lessons are refunded at the single lesson rate less the lessons already taken, unless we agree to hold the balance as credit for later use, which most learners prefer.
- The free test day recap lesson and vehicle hire are included benefits and have no cash value.
Learners course
If you do not pass the learners test, the driving lessons in your package are held as credit until you do. They are not forfeited.
Test day
If you fail your driving test, the vehicle hire and recap lesson for a second attempt are quoted separately. If a test is cancelled by the testing station, we reschedule the recap lesson at no charge.
How refunds are paid
Refunds are paid by EFT to the account the package was paid from, usually within 5 working days.
